The book I'm reading is The Lost Boy by Dave Pelzer, it's a sequel to the Child Called "It" What happened is he went to school and no one was accepting him for him ! They were judging him from his history, from the past. Then while he was walking around at recess he found a boy that had a rough life just like him he started hanging out with him, he didn't know he was in a gang at the time. Pure Pressure was what John did to David all the time. Everywhere there's pure pressure. It's pretty sad seeing kids and people giving in to stuff they do not want to do at all. Anyways, John was mad at his teacher for picking on him he swore he was going to burn down his classroom, David thought he was joking around but weeks later John was not lying, he really was burning down his classroom, David tried to put it out but it seemed like he was starting the fire. John left he as terrified & then when david hid from the police and ran away from home he stayed at John's house, then when john came back from school he told david they were looking for him. He betrayed him, he didn't let him stay, he wasn't a true friend. True friends stay with you till the end, and stick on your side no matter how bad the problem or situation is. This book is showing me to appreciate a lot of the things I have as a teenager.
