The book I'm reading now is called "A Child Called It" this book is about one of the thousand of kids that get abused by their parents. When I read the first page I felt glad that I have a family that loves me and forgives me. "it" was what he was called and every single day he suffered abuse from his mother, he never gave up hope that he would find a nice, loving family that cares for him. I'm so grateful for everything my parents did for me and gave me a warm place to sleep. His mom was nice at first but then she turned evil and started becoming lazy and just mean. This book made me realize that I have loving parents who care for me and would never ever do anything to hurt me in any way. He faced a lot of challenges and obstacles in his life. He could have run away from his mom but he stayed. This book is so emotional and inspiring .
